FULL FAMILIES OF MULTIMODAL MAPS ON THE CIRCLE

Abstract: For each positive integer m, we exhibit a family of 2m-modal maps of the circle, depending on finitely many parameters, which has the property that any continuous 2m-modal map of the circle is semi-conjugate to one map in that family. This semi-conjugacy may<br/>fail to be a conjugacy only on sets where the dynamics is well understood.
